Edit articles and planned topics

Keep your changes in Spron, then send them when ready.

SWritten by Spron TeamUpdated October 14, 2026

You can edit an article in Spron before sending it, or change a published article and send a new version.

Edit an article

Open the article, change the text and wait for it to save. Check the title, links and images before publishing.

Saving an edit does not send it to your destination. Press Publish for the first manual send, or Republish to send an updated version.

An active integration can receive newly ready articles automatically. If you want to review every new post first, choose a destination's draft option where supported, or keep the connection off during review.

Keep the same post

Built-in integrations use the saved destination post ID where supported. A custom receiver or Zap must use the Spron article ID to update the existing post.

Changes made directly in the destination can be replaced on republish. Keep the source changes in Spron if you want them preserved.

Planned topics

Review planned topics before they are written. Use the topic controls available in your content plan to change the plan. Editing a planned topic and editing a finished article are separate actions.

See Publish and republish an article for delivery details.
