Your site does not need to use one of Spron's built-in integrations. A developer can connect it with a webhook: an HTTP message containing the article.
What your website needs
Your developer builds a public HTTPS endpoint that verifies Spron's request, saves the article and images, and returns the delivery result.
The receiver must find an existing post by the Spron article ID before creating a new one. This keeps later edits and retries on the same post.
Connect the address
- In Spron, open Integrations → Webhook → Connection.
- Enter a Connection name you will recognise.
- Paste the receiver's public Webhook address.
- Press Connect webhook as an owner or admin.
- Save the access token shown once and configure it on your receiving server.
The name is a label in Spron. The address is the receiving endpoint, not your website homepage or CMS login page.
Give these guides to your developer
- Read the article payload for content and ID fields.
- Receive webhooks safely for sender verification and retries.
- Keep article images for permanent media storage.
- Rename webhook fields if your custom receiver needs different field names.
An ordinary CMS REST endpoint is not automatically a Spron receiver. It may need a handler to verify the message and convert the content.
Check the first delivery
Send one ready article and check the destination record and public page. Republish it and confirm the same record updates.
The receiver should report a public URL only when the page is public. A saved draft can be accepted without a public URL.
Prefer to publish by hand?
You can copy the finished article and publish it yourself. Check the images and formatting in your destination before making it public.
